Material And Characteristics

High speed steel circular saw blades are composed of elements such as carbon (C), tungsten (W), molybdenum (Mo), chromium (Cr), vanadium (V), etc. After heat treatment, they have high thermal hardness and can maintain hardness at high temperatures of 600 ℃, with a cutting speed of over 60 meters per minute.

Selection Suggestions

Material matching: Choose HSS-Co for stainless steel and HSS-DM05 for ordinary steel;

Specification selection: For thick plates (such as ≥ 10mm), priority should be given to models with an outer diameter of ≥ 300mm and a thickness of ≥ 2.5mm;

Process: Choose coating process (such as titanium plating) or powder metallurgy process products to enhance durability.

 

Tooth Shaped Design

Narrow tooth pitch (dense teeth): suitable for thin-walled pipes, reducing burrs;  

Wide tooth pitch (sparse teeth): used for cutting thick plates to improve chip removal efficiency

 

Operating Standards And Maintenance

Installation requirements: Ensure the accuracy of the equipment spindle and clamp plate, and avoid saw blade shaking or deviation;

Cutting parameters: Adjust the speed and feed rate according to the material thickness. For thick plates, reduce the speed and increase the pressure;

Lubrication requirements: Cutting fluid must be used for cooling, dry cutting is prohibited, otherwise it may cause overheating and tooth breakage of the cutting edge;

Wear treatment: Replace immediately if there are broken teeth or burrs on the cutting surface, and repair the old saw blade in a timely manner to extend its service life.
